Magdalena Kordylasińska i Miłosz Pękala ukończyli studia u prof. Stanisława Skoczyńskiego w Akademii Muzycznej im. F. Chopina w Warszawie. Swój warsztat doskonalili pod okiem takich pedagogów jak: Gert Mortensen, Jean Geoffroy, William Moersch, Ricardo Flores, Daniel Berg. Obecnie Hob-Beats jest jedną z niewielu aktywnie działających formacji w Polsce.
